Independence Day of our country is a moment of pride and glory. On this special occasion, rich tributes are paid to the freedom fighters, who fought selflessly for the freedom of our country, sacrificed their lives to free their motherland from the clutches of the oppressors – British who ruled India.
68th Independence Day was celebrated in Rungta Hospital. The flag hosting was done by Dr. S.R.Dharker, Former Principal and Controller of SMS Group of Hospitals and Professor Neurosurgery. The flag hosting was followed by National Anthem and a small speech by him. During his address he remembered the freedom fighters who have sacrificed their life for freedom of the nation. He has appreciated the efforts of the Rungta Hospital in providing the good services to the society. A small cultural programme consisting of Poem recitation and fancy dress competition was organized in which the members of Rungta Hospital Family have participated with great enthusiasm. Mr Nandlal, one of the senior most employee has appeared as Mahatma Gandhi which was applauded largely and appreciated by all. The good workers were awarded for their meritorious services. The employees who have participated in the cultural program were also awarded. To mark the occasion tri-color balloons were flown by the consultant and other senior officials of the Management.
The Managing Director Mr.R.B.Rungta while addressing the gathering has expressed that Hospital has come ahead and is expected to go further with the help and hard work by the staff and Hospital. He solicited the continued assistance and help in furthering the services to the mankind by the Hospital.
The program was followed by light refreshment.
